The process
What getting an implant actually involves
Most patients have never had this explained to them. Four stages, usually spread over three to six months.

Consultation
Exam, digital X-rays and a written treatment plan. If you don't need work done, we tell you that.

Placement
The implant post goes in. Extraction or bone grafting first if the site needs it.

Healing
Bone fuses to the post over several months. You go home with a temporary, never a gap.

Restoration
The final crown, bridge or overdenture is fitted, checked and adjusted until the bite is right.

Dr. Khaytman earned his DDS from New York University School of Dentistry in 2000 and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, for academic excellence. Nearly every review this practice receives mentions the same two things: appointments start on time, and nobody is pushed toward work they don't need.
